The Challenge
Producing the show's first celebrity contestant with Down syndrome. Casting professional dancers for the first time - remembering it's a TV show first, not just a dance one. Producing professional dancers at a new level, and working with outside music artists and management teams to shape performances that still felt true to the show.

My Role
Series Producer (Dance Team). Oversaw all Professional Group Dances and produced five couples - plus cast two new professional dancers, Alexis & Julian. Created the "Judges' Eras" number, and worked alongside Kylie Minogue, choreographer Mandy Moore, and Steps.

What I Learnt
Lewis & Katya's Halloween routine to "Creep" - a concept built from scratch that went on to hit 1.4m views - reminded me that every performance needs to be shaped around the performers in front of you.
